The course provides an exploration and evaluation of strategic leadership and change management in a dynamic environment characterized by static, turbulent, chaotic, volatile, unpredictable and uncontrollable environmental conditions. Specifically, the focus is on individuals as strategic leaders, transformational leaders, shared leadership, shared leadership, creative and innovative leaders and organizational leadership. Included are the nature and importance of strategic leadership, comparison of strategic and transformational leadership, corporate culture, corporate governance, organizational change, transformation approaches, creativity, and innovation. The course has also discussed the role of strategic leaders in shared leadership and learning organizations. This course provides real current organizational case studies to solve typical strategic leadership and change management issues. The course also exposes students to solve current strategic and change management problems facing organizational through individual/group projects/research work.
